• 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • Quarter cup soften butter
nutella filling with cheeries,whipped cream and chocolate and caramel sauce,dusting of icing sugar


  1. In a large bowl beat all the eggs and sugar till nice pale.
  2. Add the milk and keep mixing it with an electric beater and add vanilla extract to it.
  3. Now add all the dry ingredients (i.e Flour,salt,baking powder ) and sieve it so there are no lumps in the mixture.
  4. Fold in all the batter,make sure there are no lumps and its a nice thin consistency
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet,add a small nob of butter and swirl it around coating the entire pan(skillet).
  6. With the help of a spoon ladle pour in the batter and quickly swirl it around making a sheet.
  7. Once tiny bubbles appear flip it to the other side and cook for another minute till slightly golden.
  8. Repeat for the rest of the crepes

*You can serve these crepes with clotted cream,whipped cream,nutella,agave syrup,maple syrup or caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.And decorate it with sliced fruits like strawberries,cherries,bananas and raspberries.

Everyone loves chicken nuggets especially the kids.I have a 5 year old sister and she enjoys chicken nuggets more than anything else.You can easily get these at any departmental store but to be very honest we don't know what goes in those expensive processed package nuggets.I recently saw a video on how these processed foods are made.I will attach the video here aswell and I can promise you would never want to eat them again but hey you don't have to mess out on the yummy goodness cause its super simple to make and it take absolutely no time.


  • 1 kilo gram lean chicken mince
  • 1 stalk of spring onions- finely chopped
  • bunch of coriander leaves
  • 3 bread slices without the sides
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs or American garden Garlic bread crumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs


  1. In a bowl, add mince,salt,pepper,spring onions,coriander and mix well.
  2. Now add the bread slices and pour in all the milk and use your hands to mix well and squish all the mince together to combine.
  3. spread the breadcrumbs and flour in separate plates and whip the eggs in a bowl.This is for the breading
  4. With the help of a tablespoon(if you like them big) or a teaspoon (if you like them in small size),take one table spoon of mince and make the shape of nuggets on your palm.(Make sure your hands are dusted with flour).
  5. Then first dip the nuggets in flour then the egg and then the breadcrumbs.
  6. Then toss them in cold oil and let the oil heat up slowly,this way the inside of the nugget will cook evenly aswell as the crisp exterior.
  7. Repeat step 4 & 5 for each nugget.

You can easily make a large batch and pop them in the freezer and cook them whenever guests arrive or make a quick snack for the kids school lunch.

It will last for 2 weeks or up-to a month.

Jan’s Deli has been around for quite sometime and in this short period they have managed to create an amazing clientele.It grew from a small bakery to a very nice comfy cafe.

This small cafe can accommodate over 60 people.In the beginning I personally didn’t like going to jan’s but in the past one year it has become  my favourite eatery in the city.Regardless of how small it is,they actually provide good quality food.Many of my friends disagree but from their steaks to dessert,I personally enjoy every meal here.

The interior of the cafe is very modern and quite interesting.So, ground floor is the bakery and coffee shop and the second floor is a family dining area. The Menu is very neatly designed and precise.They have divided the menu into categories i.e Starters,Chicken,Beef,Fish,Pasta,Burgers,Sandwiches and Drinks.They don’t have a really huge menu where there is too many dishes and the food is not upto the mark.They provide what they cook best.Even though,I am not a big fan of their staff,one thing that puts me off every time is the behaviour of their staff.They are not cooperative at all and talk rudely which has been ignored several times.The management should take note of it,as this may affect their potential customers.

They provide a variety of cakes pastries and other snacks.

But my List of favourites are ;

  • Beef soukrout  steak
  • Double Decker steak
  • New york strip steak
  • Death by Chocolate cake
  • hazelnut cappuccino
  • Baked fish

Recently my friends and I went to Jan’s deli for a late lunch and really enjoyed.They food was worth the money…It was delicious,on time and very well presented.

Apart from the dishes shown in the picture above, we ordered chicken corn soup and enjoyed coffee with a tempting slice of caramel mousse cake.

I belong to Peshawar (Pakistan) and where I live the size of your meal matters, the bigger the portion the more customers you will get!! Jan’s deli has taken this quite and they provide good portion size at very affordable prices.Believe it or not a bunch of good friends can eat as much as they can in just 5k or $50.

And if you’re a coffee fan like me you can not miss their cappuccino.It’s divine!!!

Jan’s deli offers home delivery so you can enjoy all these yummy foods at home on a lazy sunday or just to kill those cravings.If you’re living in Peshawar or you plan to visit, do try it.

Just writing this review makes me hungry.

  • 1-2 can mushrooms – sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 large onion-sliced
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoon soya sauce
  • stalk of parsley


  1. In a large pan heat the oil and cook the onions until translucent.Add the mushrooms and the seasoning (salt and pepper).
  2. In a separate pan, melt the butter add flour and mix well till lumps are removed and the flour is incorporated with the butter.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth on top of the butter mix and mix well to disappear any lumps.
  4. Add the veggies and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes or until pipping hot.
  5. Add vinegar and soya sauce and cook well for 5 minutes.Check the flavoring time to time.
  6. In the end pour in the milk an cook and stir completely.
  7. Let it simmer for another 5 to 10 minutes,Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.

You can also add broccoli to the soup if you like.

Panera Bread’s Signature Macaroni & Cheese


  •  1 13.25 ounce package shell pasta or other pasta
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup flour
  • 2½ cups fat-free milk
  • 6 slices Cheddar cheese, chopped(orange or yellow coloured)
  • 1 cup shredded extra-sharp white cheddar
  • 1 tablespoon country Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon hot sauce



  1. Prepare pasta per package directions, drain.

  2. In a large pot, melt butter over low heat. Once melted, whisk in flour and cook for one minute, whisking constantly.

  3. Slowly whisk in milk, cooking over medium heat (and continuing to whisk) until the mixture bubbles and thickens.

  4. Remove pot from heat.

  5. Add cheeses, mustard, salt and hot sauce. Stir until cheese is melted and all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  6. Add pasta and stir to ensure that all pasta is evenly coated with sauce.

 Serve and scarf down immediately


you need to follow the recipe precisely as it is complicated to get the right texture of the tart.The tart is the most important component of the recipe,if you don’t get that right it is going to be a major fail.Make the filling as good as you can,cause when you bit the tart,there should be a big crunch first and the chocolate should just melt in your here we go!!!!


  • The recipe yields 10,Never double the recipe to more quantity,repeat the recipe twice 🙂
  • Oil for greasing
  • 400g (14 ounces) plain chocolate chopped into big chunks
  • 8tbsp cream
  • 60g (2 ounces butter cubed
  • 2 tbsp caster sugar
  • Cinnamon


  • 150g(5 ounces) butter
  • 90g (3ounces)caster sugar
  • 250g (9 ounces)plain flour and some for dusting

  1. First make the pastry!!!Mix the butter and sugar in a food processor or in a large bowl with an electric beater until just combined. Add the egg and whiz for thirty seconds. Add the flour and process for a few seconds until the dough just comes together (add 1 tablespoon of cold water if it seems too dry),
  2. Knead lightly on a floured surface, then shape into a flat disc.
  3. Wrap in cling film and chill for thirty minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 190°C/Gas 5. Lightly grease ten 8 cm fluted loose-bottomed mini tart tins.
  5. Roll out the pastry as thinly as possible on a floured work surface and cut out 10 small discs using an 11cm fluted cutter. Line the tins with the pastry, allowing it to overhang the edges, then prick the base with a fork and rest for twenty minutes in the fridge. (They should be really firm and cold so that you can avoid having to blind bake them.)
  6. Bake the rested tart cases in the preheated oven for twelve minutes until golden. Use a knife to trim off the excess pastry, then cool the cases in their tins on a wire rack.
  7. Meanwhile, make the chocolate ganache. Put the chocolate, cream, butter and sugar into a heatproof bowl and place over a pan of gently boiling water for seven to eight minutes, stirring to combine once melted. (Taste and add a little sugar if you prefer a sweeter ganache.)
  8. Spoon the ganache mix into the cooled tart cases,or use and icing bag to fill the ganache in a beautiful way and top with broken
  9. Chill for twenty minutes to 30 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle on some cinnamon and its all done ,good to serve!

Who doesn’t love cookies, its everyone’s Favorite and the best tea time treat.So here we go,we now have a nice,simple recipe and make them at home.The best thing about cookies is that you can store them for a few days and munch on them whenever you want.A few calories isn’t  a bad idea at all 😉



  • 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cups coarsely chopped nuts.
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter softened


  1. First things first, Pre-heat the oven at 375 F or 190 C.
  2. Mix  both the sugars,egg,vanilla,butter in a large bowl.Mix with spatula,you don’t want to beat it too much as it looses its texture.
  3. Slowly,stir in the flour,soda and salt.
  4. Stir in the nuts and chocolate chipsNOTE :Remember the dough will be stiff and not smooth.
  5. using a ice cream scoop drop the dough on a cookie sheet 2 inches apart.The cookie sheet must be greased with slight oil.
  6. bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are light golden.
  7. Cool slightly or else they will break.Remove from cookie sheet and cool on the wire rack.

To make this recipe even more heavenly you can ad peanut butter chips,or put on some peanut butter on top,you can also add white chocolate chips.
