Crepes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • Quarter cup soften butter

nutella filling with cheeries,whipped cream and chocolate and caramel sauce,dusting of icing sugar

METHOD :

  1. In a large bowl beat all the eggs and sugar till nice pale.
  2. Add the milk and keep mixing it with an electric beater and add vanilla extract to it.
  3. Now add all the dry ingredients (i.e Flour,salt,baking powder ) and sieve it so there are no lumps in the mixture.
  4. Fold in all the batter,make sure there are no lumps and its a nice thin consistency
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet,add a small nob of butter and swirl it around coating the entire pan(skillet).
  6. With the help of a spoon ladle pour in the batter and quickly swirl it around making a sheet.
  7. Once tiny bubbles appear flip it to the other side and cook for another minute till slightly golden.
  8. Repeat for the rest of the crepes

*You can serve these crepes with clotted cream,whipped cream,nutella,agave syrup,maple syrup or caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.And decorate it with sliced fruits like strawberries,cherries,bananas and raspberries.

MANGO MOUSSE CAKE

INGREDIENTS:

FOR SPONGE:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 cup oil

    for mousse:

  •  4 tablespoon custard powder
  • 2 mug milk
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin 1
  • 1 mug of water
  • 1 normal size mango in cubes shape
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pack of cream Sprinkles

METHOD:

SPONGE:

  1. Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl i: e flour, baking powder, and baking soda, salt.
  2. beat Wet ingredients in other bowl milk, eggs and oil.
  3. Now add dry bowl to the wet bowl and mix it well.
  4. Grease the container and  preheat the oven at 160-180°C and bake the cake for 30 minutes .
  5. Now cut the cake through side wise from middle and keep it aside

MOUSSE:

  1. Make thick custard by using custard powder, sugar and milk.following the instructions on the box
  2. Once the custard is done remove it from flame and add cream to it and stir well.
  3. On the other side mix gelatin in warm water an add it to the custard bowl.
  4. Make thick mango jam by using mango and sugar.In a saucepan add mangoes and sugar on top.let the mangoes caramalise, when it is done add this jam to custard bowl.
  5. Now take a mould spread foil in it and put one thin layer of sponge then pour custard mixture over the sponge.
  6. Freeze it for an hour.
  7. When it is set enough sprinkle some multi-colored sprinkles on it.
