• 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 whole eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • Quarter cup soften butter
nutella filling with cheeries,whipped cream and chocolate and caramel sauce,dusting of icing sugar


  1. In a large bowl beat all the eggs and sugar till nice pale.
  2. Add the milk and keep mixing it with an electric beater and add vanilla extract to it.
  3. Now add all the dry ingredients (i.e Flour,salt,baking powder ) and sieve it so there are no lumps in the mixture.
  4. Fold in all the batter,make sure there are no lumps and its a nice thin consistency
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet,add a small nob of butter and swirl it around coating the entire pan(skillet).
  6. With the help of a spoon ladle pour in the batter and quickly swirl it around making a sheet.
  7. Once tiny bubbles appear flip it to the other side and cook for another minute till slightly golden.
  8. Repeat for the rest of the crepes

*You can serve these crepes with clotted cream,whipped cream,nutella,agave syrup,maple syrup or caramel sauce or chocolate sauce.And decorate it with sliced fruits like strawberries,cherries,bananas and raspberries.

This one's my dads favourite!!!This simple and delicious dish is ready in minutes, and to make this you don't have to worry about ingredients.All
these ingredients are easily available in your local grocery store.You can have these
for dinner or can pack in for your kids school lunch with ketchup or their favorite 


  • Chicken fillets- 4 (diced)
  • Capsicum-red,yellow and green-1  large each (diced)
  • Onions-2 large (diced)
  • tomatoes-2 large (diced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tomatoes paste -3 tbsp
  • Chili flakes -1 tsp
  • Garlic powder-1 tsp
  • Jalapenos-1/2 cup
  • olives black- 1/2 cup
  • Mushrooms – 1/2 cup (optional)
  • lemon juice -2 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped -4 cloves
  • Tortilla wraps ( your choice if you want to use the flour,whole wheat or gluten free)
  • Mozzarella cheese or Cheddar cheese  – 2 cups



  1. Preheat a wok and cook the chicken slightly.Once it changes the colour.
  2. Then add garlic cloves and onions and peppers and cook well for two minutes
  3. Now add the tomatoes paste and tomatoes and toss for 2 minutes so the strong taste of the paste goes away.
  4. Once this is done add all the remaining ingredients and the spices and cook well
  5. heat a skillet and take the wraps and the add the filling to one half of the wrap,top it with the cheese and fold it over.
  6. Repeat step 5 for all the wraps
  7. Now put each turnover in the preheated skillet and slightly cook on both sides till the cheese is melted and the wrap is golden and toasted.
  8. You may want to cut them in the center or can serve it whole as part of your meal of a snack.

Everyone loves chicken nuggets especially the kids.I have a 5 year old sister and she enjoys chicken nuggets more than anything else.You can easily get these at any departmental store but to be very honest we don't know what goes in those expensive processed package nuggets.I recently saw a video on how these processed foods are made.I will attach the video here aswell and I can promise you would never want to eat them again but hey you don't have to mess out on the yummy goodness cause its super simple to make and it take absolutely no time.


  • 1 kilo gram lean chicken mince
  • 1 stalk of spring onions- finely chopped
  • bunch of coriander leaves
  • 3 bread slices without the sides
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs or American garden Garlic bread crumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs


  1. In a bowl, add mince,salt,pepper,spring onions,coriander and mix well.
  2. Now add the bread slices and pour in all the milk and use your hands to mix well and squish all the mince together to combine.
  3. spread the breadcrumbs and flour in separate plates and whip the eggs in a bowl.This is for the breading
  4. With the help of a tablespoon(if you like them big) or a teaspoon (if you like them in small size),take one table spoon of mince and make the shape of nuggets on your palm.(Make sure your hands are dusted with flour).
  5. Then first dip the nuggets in flour then the egg and then the breadcrumbs.
  6. Then toss them in cold oil and let the oil heat up slowly,this way the inside of the nugget will cook evenly aswell as the crisp exterior.
  7. Repeat step 4 & 5 for each nugget.

You can easily make a large batch and pop them in the freezer and cook them whenever guests arrive or make a quick snack for the kids school lunch.

It will last for 2 weeks or up-to a month.

  • 1 cup synthetic vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup cream

TIP: you may season the cheese with any of your favourite herbs like oregano,basil or thyme.


  1. Heat up the milk till 180 degrees
  2. Remove the Sauce pan from heat and add vinegar and cream and mix for 2 minutes constantly till the milk splits.
  3. Cover with a muslin cloth or a clean kitchen towel and let it rest for 30 minutes
  4. After 30 minutes,Stir the milk and curds once.
  5. Put a strainer and put a cheese cloth or muslin cloth over the sieve and make sure it on top of the bowl to collect the whey liquid.
  6. Pour the milk and the curds and make sure all the liquid is gone.
  7. Rinse the curds with cold water making sure its all in one place.
  8. Tie the cloth tight,tie it to on your tap and let it hang overnight.
  9. Next day when you open the cloth you will have a beautiful home-made cottage cheese ready to go with your breakfast,salad or soup.

NOTE: You have to keep it keep it in the cloth overnight or else it will break easily,cover with cling film once ready.

  • 2 cups  bread crumbs(Romano cheese by american garden)
  • 1 packet fish fillet
  • 1 tea spoon Cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Parmesan cheese-optional
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 stalk of parsley finely chopped or dill


  • 1 tea spoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 large potatoes(washed,peeled and sliced in a typical french fries style)



  1. Before you get into cooking,first make sure your fillet is nice and thaw and is soft enough to hold the batter
  2. In large open dishes put the bread crumbs in one dish,whisk the egg in the other and in the last one add the flour.
  3. Now is the part when you season everything,Start by seasoning the flour with salt,pepper,cayenne,paprika,garlic powder and mix the flour with a clean fork all over.
  4. Then season the bread crumbs with the Parmesan cheese and parsley or coriander.
  5. All you need do is follow 3 simple steps to form the crisp coating.Before you start coating the fish slightly season the fish on both sides with salt and pepper,be sure you don’t add to much salt cause there is already enough seasoning in the flour.
  6. Now start the coating,first rub the fish in the flour,making sure it coated completely so it holds the egg.Then the fish goes in the egg,rub it in the egg completely,then lay the fish on the bread crumbs,gently press it and with the other hand put the bread crumbs on top.
  7. Remember,we have to make this nice and crispy so we do a double coat,put the fish again in the egg and then back in the bread crumbs following the same procedure.
  8. We will follow step 6-7 the same way for all the remaining fillets.Once you have all the fillets coated well,put them in a clean tray and pop them in the fridge for 15 minutes.So the crumbs can stick in well!!!
  9. Heat a skillet with oil for deep frying,once the oil is nice and hot we will slide the fillet one at a time and decrease the flame to minimum.If the fillets are thick you would want to cook them for 4 minutes each side -8 minutes total.If the fillets are thin then you will decrease the cooking time accordingly.
  10. Once they are nice and golden brown serve in a dish on top of a kitchen paper to get rid of the excess oil.


  1. In a large colander put the sliced potatoes and sprinkle a gentle amount of salt and wait for 5 minutes,this will help the potatoes release all the water.
  2. Squeeze all the water out and remember the more water you take out the crispier your fries will be.
  3. Now add cayenne paprika,salt and garlic powder and toss all over
  4. let them sit in the colander to dry.
  5. Heat a deep fryer and a skillet with oil,the oil should be very hot.Once the oil is hot and you can see tiny bubbles forming add the potatoes in.(Decrease the flame to medium)

Don’t move them around too much cause they get soggy ,once they start getting crispy golden take them out on a kitchen paper and toss them on top of your fish fillet.

Cookies are great treats,be it for kids or adults everyone enjoys munching on them from time to time.This is a great recipe and you can prepare the dough ahead of time and store it in the freezer and bake it fresh.Great flavor rich and it will definitely increase your sugar levels.Be careful not to over indulge because these are high calorie cookies.


  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
  • 1 package (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)



  1. Heat oven to 375ºF -190ºC
  2. Mix sugars, butter, vanilla and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
  3. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown (centers will be soft). Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet.
  5. Cool on wire rack.
    Note:when the edges start getting slight darker compared to the center slowly take the tray out and let them cool because cookies store heat and start cooking on their own.Once they are ready store in an air tight container to keep the chewy and moist.
    To freeze the dough : Simply take a baking sheet and horizontally add all the batter and roll it in a form of tube.twist the ends of the baking sheet tight and freeze. Before baking cut in circles 1/2 inch apart and bake following the above instructions.

Pulao is a popular rice dish of south Asia.Its cooked in different styles in different countries.My personal Favorite is the typical beef pulao and kabli pulao(Afghani style).The pulao recipe I am sharing with you all is very special to me because I have spent my entire childhood enjoying this.This is my grandmothers recipe and this dish is a must in our dinner and Eid.I have always messed up rice but this time I followed her recipe for the first time,I was surprised how it came out so well.



Beef stock:
  • Beef 1 kg ( cut in cubes)
  • Ginger (1 inch piece)
  • Garlic cloves -5
  • Black pepper corns -10
  • Bay leaf-2
  • Onion-1 (cut in halves)
  • water 4 litres
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 medium red onion
  • 1 table spoon Garam Masla
  • 1 table spoon ginger paste
  • 1 table spoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Cooking oil 1/4 cup
  • Sayla Rice 2 mugs.(long grained rice,available in all indian stores)



  1. Wash and soak the rice in cold water for 3 hours.
  2. In a pressure cooker add all the beef stock ingredients and close the pressure cooker. You need to give it a 30 minute pressure so the beef is nice and tender.
  3. Once your beef stock is ready,strain all the stock in a bowl separating the stock and beef in separate bowls.
  4. In a large open pan,heat the oil, add onions,garlic,ginger and cook till they are nice and translucent.Make sure your flame is not too high.
  5. Once the onions are translucent add the beef cubes,salt,garam masala.At this stage make sure your flame is high..stir well and cook the beef and onions together.
  6. Add 4 mugs of beef stock and bring to rapid boil.
  7. when the stock starts boiling,remove the water from the rice and quickly add the rice in the stock.cook for 5 minutes of high flame and cover it.
  8. keep checking on the rice,there should be about 1 cup water left in the rice,then decrease the flame!!!!
  9. Place a piece of flat bread on top of the rice on the other hand heat a coal. When the coal is red hot ,pick it with a pair of tongs and place on top ;quickly cover the lid and a kitchen towel place on top.At this stage decrease the flame to minimum.This ensures that maximum smoke penetrates through the rice.Make sure the pan is covered tightly.keep it covered for 25 minutes.
  10. After 25 minutes check if its nice soft then serve them in an open dish.
