Steak cut into slices.Cooked medium rare(increased searing time if you want to cook well done) and served with my classic simple mushroom sauce.I use up all the cooked sauce on top of the beef as it gives a complete rich flavoring 🙂


  •  4 beef steaks(undercut beef) (~340 grams) 1.25-centimeter thick

You can use chicken fillet 4.If you don’t like beef

  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar  
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce 
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons pepper


To make the teriyaki sauce, combine the brown sugar,sauces and soy sauce in a small bowl and stir to combine. 

f your steak is very lean, rub a teaspoon of oil onto each steak. If the steaks have a lot of fat marbled in with the meat they shouldn’t need any oil.

Heat a heavy bottomed frying pan over high heat until very hot. Add the the steaks and sear one side until browned.

Flip the steaks over and sear the other side. If you want your steaks medium rare, reduce the searing time, if want your steaks well done, increase the searing time.

Once the steaks are done and you think they are nice and tender.Pour all the teriyaki sauce on top and simmer in for a little bit and drizzle some vinegar over it.


Serve over a sizzling steak platter with amazing sauteed vegetables and a delicious baked potatoes
